First Impression: Woah! That is one bright, busy background. 100% honesty - I do not like it. I feel like that particular color should be used as accent only. There aren't enough colors on this page, just white and purple-ish.

Your menu is composed of shortened words, made me say "Huh?" at first glance. Think about if I didn't speak great English though. I wouldn't know what half of those words mean, a translator could not help me out at all.

The heading are also too large with huge gaps at the top and bottom. Within your stylesheet, try adding
margin: 0;
to the h1 selector.

I just went to click on some of your content, the background of the menu changed to the same color as the text in the menu, completely hiding the text, I didn't find it attractive.

Home: There are only 2 updates per page, which makes for extra clicking. You're not going to find a lot of people who are going to go the extra mile to read more entries so, try to fit as many on 1 page without making the page TOO long. Scrolling is okay, too much scrolling is bad. I didn't have to scroll at all, which in my opinion is also bad. It makes me feel like the site is lacking content.

I notice a lot of posts about the site, but very few relating to you. The one that I assume is about you (the latest entry, "My Friends And I Are Dorks" is password protected, so I obviously can't read it. :

Some of your texts are lacking proper structure, you probably cut a few sentences off short where a comma could have been used. Veterans Day is a proper noun and therefore needs to be capitalized. Sorry, just little nit-picky things on my end, if you're not concerned with them, then just ignore my small rant.

Site: This takes me to a page with more links. Remember, the less steps it takes a person to get to a page, the more likely they will be to willingly go there. Many people just randomly browsing the web would have been gone from your site within just a few seconds.

Your h2 styles are a bit odd, they are actually smaller then the text around it. The h1, h2, etc. tags are headings, hence the "H", headings are supposed to be prominent, not hidden in the background. Needless to say, on my larger resolution, I have trouble reading them.

There are a lot of rules, they may scare some people away. Maybe you should consider putting them in a scrolling divider, it will look much like a text box but will not be editable.
<div style="overflow: scroll;">Your rules here</div>

I feel like a lot of your pages are lacking explanation. You should explain everything without over-explaining. I went to your "affiliates" section and wasn't quite sure what kind of sites they consisted of. What if I wanted to be an affiliate, I wouldn't even know if I was supposed to apply myself because there are no criteria. There's an application and a comment form, may confused some people.

Essentially there is no real information on the site itself. I would like to know more about how the web site came to be, a list of archives doesn't satisfy my curiosity. ;)

Visitr: Ahh, revamping?! Maybe you should take it down from the menu until you are done with it?

Rsrcs: There's not a lot here and what is here I don't find appealing, I wouldn't use any of these resources for my online space.

Tuts: Once again, not much here and your tutorials are in image format, why not just plain text with some images scattered here and there?

I gave you 1 out of 5 stars because even though I think you're doing all you can to provide a resource site for people, you don't have the resources yourself. The layout was unattractive and there is very little useful information.
