Overall First Impression: This site is really well put together, no distracting colors and a simple yet elegant layout.

Layout: I love the image of the bird, I have to wonder if you drew that, if so, it's absolutley beautiful. I get a breath of fresh air, especially with layouts like yours. I really love it.

Blog: I find your entries interesting, they may not be long entries but the fact that you write more about your hobbies and things going on in your life is fine, after all it's a hobby/personal site. No complaints at all. I like how you keep things brief yet informative.

Goodies: I like your goodies section, not to much added to it. It's nothing to unique, except for the CSS Templates, not many people offer those anymore. Pixels, emoticons, and PS brushes are often seen. I'd suggest to add more PS brushes if you could, one set is nice but 3 or so is better. Your pixels are adorable! You're emoticons are really cute, I would use those in my blog. The minigames are a great way to keep visitors busy, but I have to admit when I tried playing some of them, I had to figure out which buttons to push once I had the game open, perhaps somewhere add instructions on which buttons to use to play the game.

Links: I have always admired the organization of links, it seems everyone has a way of putting things in order. I love how you've set yours up.

Overall: I think your site is an amazing piece of work. It's well organized, the setup is beautiful. Your personality shines through it, and it makes me want to visit again.
I would change a few things, I'd add more brushes, at least 2 more sets if possible, thus giving people more choices. Add instructions on game use in your Mini Games section, because not everyone will know what to do once the game opens.
Otherwise you've done an ammazing job. Keep it up! :)

Ahh I just got on this site and I already love it. First, my eyes go right to the anime type girl. She looks classy and sassy with that gun. Even though that gun looks like a toy, it’s better than some lipstick. Quick comments on the design: the background speaks dead romance to me. Like some tragic love story that went horribly wrong thus explaining the girl with the gun that gave up her love life to save all future breaks ups! The simple design kind of bores me but the colors look futuristic which I’m all up for so no harm there. The links up top are bright and bold. I wish there were centered or something, I don’t know why, don’t ask me. It’s a small layout so I don’t have to scroll so much, centered table equals close to perfection. The font is absolutely wonderful on my eyes, the titles, the links, the side column all work out well for me, but seeing the same stuff over and over again gets don’t you agree? Why don’t you add in a different avatar every time you post a new entry? It’s not that much work. Just use
text text this that oh no that happened….. xxxx …
and that should do it. You know, like that. It adds a little more effort and also is nice for viewers to have some nice visuals around the site to keep them busy. All text, they fly out like a train with wings. I’m pretty sure images and pictures interest everyone. Unordinary network: I like the title but is that was you really are? Un ordinary, the site so far proves to be not like any other I’ve seen. Anyways, your simple links take me to the About page where you don’t really offer much on yourself which is fine because I don’t like to talk about myself to strangers, and I hate those crazy people that post books about themselves. Normally, about would also include some info regarding your wonderful site but I can’t find any on this page, but when I look to the side! Ah I see it, good thing I looked over there, the side menu changes huh?! You should have told me. You use light box 2.0, I’m still one the first original edition. On the creations page, I see a lot of links. Wow, you have a nice ongoing collection of cute goodies! Wow, you’re very talented on those pixels! The web comics are cool but they take me to a different site and page. Why don’t you add them on to your site? I loved playing space pizza; kind of fun till the guy ate me. Your site is very resourceful; I downloaded the white blob smiley set if you don’t mind. Again for the last link I am taken to a whole new site which isn’t really good. Finally the links page, guessing they’re not credits but links you adore or exchanges right? Well, that was a present visit. I hope you aren’t too upset with the review, it’s just my opinion, don’t take it to heart.

Thanks for the review. Some of my creations that are "off site" may be moved to the main site in future.

You didn't really point out any mistakes or complaints, so why did I only get 2 and 1/2 stars? :S Oh well.

I like the black rose background and your choice of green and blue for the links. The green is only found in the top links though, maybe try incorporating it somewhere else too. I like how when you click on one of your 4 main links the content in the sidebar is like a submenu with relevent stuff. I immediately noticed you have a favicon and that always makes a site stand out. Your links page has good content. And this is just my personal opinion but I'm not a fan of livejournal feed on a website because when somebody comments it takes you away from the original site, and if somebody isn't familiar with LJ they might get confused. Overall I like your site, it's clean and organized.

    Louise's Response:

Thanks for your review. The green is used elsewhere, but it's not really noticeable. I'm not sure where else to use it.

If you know it's a LJ feed, and it doesn't confuse you, then why does it bother you? I guess you're caring about others and not yourself? :) What I might do is change the comment link text to say "comment on LJ" (saying "LiveJournal" in the tooltip).

Hey, I'm Shlesha, and I'll give a brief review about your site :)

    First Impressions

Wow, I like it! The girl holding the gun (may not be appropriate for little kids, but it should be alright for a PG site) is really unique and nice. I like the dark colours, and the layout is great.
Other than that I think the homepage looks a bit blank, maybe you should add some more, like affiliates, or link buttons, or something. When I put my mouse over the navigation, the letters change colour. I really like that technique.

On the creations page, I really like how you laid everything out, underneath sub headings!

When I click on a link, it leads me to another site, and the creations are great :) I can see why you put up a site for your creations. You are talented!

That's all I can give you for now, keep up the great work!

    Thanks for your review.

I can't really imagine how little kids would feel looking at this site. I don't think they will be following links from other kid sites, and if they were, I don't think they will find anything appealing. :) (Sure it's a cartoon/comic image, but are all cartoons for kids?)

For the sidebar: I may have a small thumbnail of something I'm working on, however I don't have any major projects happening right now. I'm sill thinking about it though. I prefer to have as little clutter as possible in a sidebar.

I'm surprised that something such as simple as link-hover colour interests people - I always thought it was a very common idea. XD

Again, thanks for your positive review. :)
