I had a lot of trouble trying to figure out what the purpose of your site was when I first opened up the link. I think it would be nice to add a little introduction at the top of the page so no one has to go digging through your site information section before they can even figure out what the purpose of the site is. The plug board is also rather cluttered and distracting, and I'm not sure that it serves much of a purpose. Perhaps, if you really want to keep it, you could move it to a links page or something similar? It's like I just arrived, and you're already trying to shoo me elsewhere, with so many links that are so distracting and easily accessible.

As the previous reviewer mentioned, the navigation links are too hidden and not labeled very well. Taking a look at your source code, I see that you have alt="Site", etc. tags for these links, but it may be helpful to add title="Site", etc. tags as well, since the alt tags are only supposed to show when the image doesn't. It's the title tag that's supposed to give you a tooltip on hover (IE misinterprets the alt tag and will display these as tooltips as well, but standards-compliant browsers such as Firefox will not).

Your stories seem to be the centerpiece of your site, but I find it a bit irritating that both of the stories you have up are actually just links to FictionPress.com. I'd rather not get directed to another site without realizing that that's what would happen when I click the link. Maybe you should mention somewhere that your stories are hosted offsite so as not to take your visitors off guard?

Overall, I think your site is cute and has a lot of potential. I'll definitely check back again in the future.

    Hello~

    First Impression
Text is too light. I don't understand the links on the left.. They're more noticeable than your site links (which I couldn't find until I looked more closely). Your site name is misspelled..

    In Depth
Your link exchange/affiliate links really bother me... They're more noticeable than your site links which are hard to find.. and your "Home" link is listed under your link exchange/affiliate links section.

Your updates kinda confuse me, too D: It's right under the "Welcome" heading, so I was expecting a welcome message of some sort, but instead, it was just your blog. I guess it's fine this way, but I think you should add a divider somewhere between your Welcome heading and your blog. Once again, the text in the content area is a bit too light.. the color doesn't contrast enough with the background, making it hard to read. Even though it isn't your layout, I'm sure it'd be fine if you changed the color so that the text is more legible.

After I find your navigation, I click the first link. I have no idea where it'll take me because there is no hover information (and I am not going to right click & go to properties just to see where it leads). It leads me to... Site Information. Okay, so it leads to a gateway type of page. The way the links are presented aren't the greatest.. It's a bit odd how you list "About the site", "Site Rule", and "About the Author" on the same line. You might as well separate them like all the other links. You should also capitalize Site in "About the site" (since all your other links are this way and.. it's a rule? I think :P).

YOU SHOULD HAVE A BACK LINK, or something that leads back to the gateway page. Hmm, maybe you should put the site rules on the page of "Site Information". It's kinda troublesome how I have to click two times (from the main page) to get to "Site Rules" (or maybe it's just me and my dislike of those gateway page thingies D:)

Sigh, I think the organization of your links are a bit off. I don't know why, but having "Graphics", "Tagboard", and "Images" on your "Site Information" page seems a bit off. Why would I go to "Site Information" to find graphics you've made? Or artwork you've done?

On your "Stories" page, the space between the text and the header it goes under is waaaayy too large.

Dang, you have a large "Gifts" list, but even so, I don't feel that it deserves to be linked under your main navigation; especially since your "Home" link is under your affiliates' links..

I don't really have much else to say about the rest of your stuff. I think you should change the way you organized your links. Maybe have your Navigation be Home, Site, Content (then link your stories and graphics, or whatever), and Links Out. You should have your about me stuff linked where you have your affiliates' links.. Since I think that small area is for the "About the Site Owner" type thing anyway. I tried not to "rate" the layout, but I think you should find a different layout to use. Also, I think you should fix your site name. I understand you have a reason for putting that extra S in there, but where it is... makes it seem like it's misspelled...

Anyway, I hope this review has helped a little. Your site is nice, it's just the light text and the organization that makes your site hard to read and navigate.

    Good luck!
