A small website, planning to get big one day, which offers its visitors graphics of different types. Would like to be reviewed to know what others think of my website "honestly". I always accept criticism and I usually follow and go by what I am told, unless your like. eww that's the worst site ever your graphics suck etc, then I'll just ignore you!

Hello, I'm Trish and I'll be reviewing you.

    First Impression/Layout
It's fairly nice; there's lots of orange, which I think you pulled off pretty well. I like the header (although it almost seems a bit too large) because it's simple, yet not too boring. Something you should fix is the padding for your sidebar and on the left of your content section. It just looks mushed together and the content on the side bar kind of looks like it's running off into the content. Other than that, everything is organized well and the layout looks great.
    4.5/5

    The Domain Section
When you have the information listed, it's a bit hard to read the bold text because the font color isn't much different from the content background. Again, you should have some padding under your headings so that the paragraph underneath it doesn't overrun it.
Affiliates Application - The bold and underlined text are hard to read, again, because the colors are similar to the background colors. You shouldn't really need to style the bold and underline text anyway, since their purposes aren't to be pretty.
    Credits - very organized!
    4/5

    The Owner Section
Pretty standard, it's still hard to differentiate between the bold and the regular text. I like the A-Z section; I always thought those were interesting. :) I also really liked the story of your pregnancy, since I've always wondered how the whole going-to-the-hospital thing worked out. XD Other than that, there's nothing really wrong with this section. I mean, it is about you, so you can't really go wrong, haha.
    5/5

    The Visitor Section
Icons - Very nice quality/editing and they're very organized. I might use some. :) I'm sure someone has already told you about the whole copyright thing, so I won't explain it here, but if you don't know about it, I'll post a link for you.
Layouts - Pretty good! Mostly it looks like some spots in the side bar need a little more padding, but whatever. In your "Watermelon" theme, the text in the header "Welcome" doesn't really go with the background image too well. Maybe going with a darker green would go better. The header #2 text should probably be a little lighter so that it's easy to read. I thought the deep blue footer looked a little strange at first, because I didn't see the color anywhere else really besides the text and border. Don't take it personally, these are only suggestions based on my opinion. I'm far from an expert. ;)
Tutorials - I thought the first few were kind of pointless, but seeing as you host, I'm sure it's a lot easier than repeating the same thing to those who don't know how to do the whole FTP thing. The images take a while to load up, and some of them didn't upload at all. Maybe if you uploaded them to Photobucket or something they'd load faster? I'm not sure about that, though. Your tutorials are fairly decent and simple - perfect for beginners and people like myself.
Textures - Very colorful and vibrant. Other than that, not much else to say.
Signatures - I don't really like how you did the text styles for some of these, but that's not a big deal. I'm guessing they're just examples for others anyway.
Wallpapers - They're pretty good. There's always room for improvement, though.
    4/5

    Conclusion
I think you have a great site and are very talented. Some things you could fix are the padding on the sidebars and headers and the colors of the styled text. I hope you found my review helpful and that you'll consider my suggestions to improve user readability. Good luck!

oh what oh what to say about sugar-plum.org...cool layout and i love the amazing colors...it reminds me of so much memories of beautiful pictures...it has cool..your site is not the best i have ever seen and it has very good potential it could some day be a very good website and possibly be ranked very high on other websites list.....your header is a bit too large and takes away from the rest of the content..The link for the porfolio leads to another site (not so cool dude) I would have liked some sort of warning to that caz some people could get angry at you.

My Stats: Firefox 3 on Windows Vista at 1280x800 resolution.

The layout reminds me of cupcakes and frosting. Very cute! My first impression is that the header is a bit too large. On my resolution, I can barely see any of your content, and I have to scroll down before I can really read anything. I think you could crop off at least the top half of your header without loosing much in the way of design. I also feel like your content and sidebar areas could use a little more breathing space. I would recommend adding 10-20px worth of padding so that the text doesn't look so jammed up against the edges of your content areas. Also, the right blue color that you use for some of your headings and links is a little blinding against the bright orange background; you may want to consider changing it to another color.

It seems like most of your navigation links at the top of your page lead to portal pages that do little more than list all the links to your subsections. You might want to consider using drop-down menus instead, so that the user can access the content he/she wants with fewer mouse-clicks.

I feel like the title "Visitor" is a little undescriptive; I never know what to expect when I click on a link like that. Maybe you could change it to something like "Resources"? Just a thought. Your icons link doesn't seem to work. It directs me to what looks like a directory page-- I'm sure that this wasn't intentional. The only other thing is that, in your tutorials, you seem to use resized images that link to their full-sized versions. I would recommend that you take the time to make real thumbnails for these, as opposed to simply resizing the original pictures using the height and width parameters in HTML. This will cut down on loading time and make your thumbnails look nicer.

The "Portfolio" link leads to another site; I would have liked some sort of warning. I'm also a bit annoyed that the link opens a new window/tab for me. I think it should be my decision whether or not I want to leave your site and, if I want to open in a new window, I easily make it do that myself.

Other than that, I think you have a cute site with a lot of potential to grow. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the review, I agree with nearly all that you've said, other than the padding thingy ;) maybe 5px instead of 10-20px?

I checked my icons link and it works fine?
I will add a drop down menu for the top links, and make thumbnails for my next tutorials in my new layout ^_^

    Enjoyed reading it, Thank you!
