    FIRST IMPRESSION:
    Exploding Pineapples is a creative & intresting name. Easy enough to remember. And the the url is short and sweet.
    They layout is nice. I like the darker colors.

    LAYOUT:
    Like I said before, I like to darker colors of the layout & the over all look of the layout. But I think that the font size of the links is a little small. Make them bigger, it will be easier to find.

    CONTENT:
    BRUSHES: I like the selection you have
    FONTS: It seems that you have a lot, which is really good. But I hate how the preview is pink. Next time make them black. It will look cleaner & be easier to see. When I click on the fonts is it suposed to take me to a direct download page? Because that doesnt happen. It just takes me to a page that says " Internet cant display.

    MYSPACE STUFF:
    Seems like you have a lot! Personally, I wouldnt have a bestie app on my site, just because I wouldnt want to be myspace besties with random people that come to my site. I'd rather be besties with sites on myspace, but thats just my opioin. Like that you have a sitemodel app though, and all the sm tips! Random question. Why on the resources page do you have an asatric (*) after myspace content?

    PREMADES:
    Like that you have domain lyts, people are always looking for thoes! Domain signs- like these! But I think theres a better name for them then domain signs. Maybe domain headers? When I first saw domain signs I thought of signs for myspace.
    I don't really like the preview pics. When I saw them i thought they were actually going to be that scruntched up, but when I viewed them they looked fine! PSD's- I like these, might want to add some more though.

    TUTORIALS:
    Love how you have them sectioned off by the type of tutorial they are. Ohmygod, and even after how for photo editing you have it by program and then by level. Love, love loveeee! You're the first site I've ever seen do that. I love all of these! Great job! :)

    SITE PAGE: like the credits page & everything there

    OVERALL:
    I like the site! It looks good, and you have a good amount of content. And I LOVE the tutorials. Add more please(:

    First Impression: Name-wise I was both amused and puzzled by your name. I can't tell if there was a purpose behind Exploding Pineapples or if it was just as random idea. Many sites are fond of the adjective + noun titles but they usually come off unoriginal and meaningless such as Lovely Nightmare or Twilight Tears or something forgettable like that. So one the one hand I like your name but I'm also unsure about it, as well.

    As for the layout, it's very poor. It looks like an average Xanga/Myspace layout. It's very unoriginal, a basic header I would expect from, again, a Xanga site, or one of those premade "I have moved/gone on hiatus" signs that people make. You know what I'm saying? I'm not entirely sure if that was clear enough. 'The color scheme is nice, I'm a big fan of teal and navy. However, your layout is somewhat scattered and I struggled for a moment to find what I was looking for. For instance, your content header is small, missable, and the tabs beneath it are just as easy to miss and somewhat blur together. I also just noticed that you did not code this site, but rather, edited a stylesheet. I'm not a fan of that.

    Things I Liked: Your site name is charming and I like your layout's color scheme.
    Things I Didn't Like: Your layout is muddled, is not navigational-friendly, and your layout lacks any evidence that you're talented in graphic design, which is the point of this site, right?

    Me: This page was somewhat confusing because I was anticipating an about me section. Not awards and contact, however useful that information is.

    Brushes: I was extremely disappointed to find that you didn't make those brushes. Did you even credit the people who did name them?

    Fonts: I would present the fonts in a different color. The bright pink is quite garish. And I would credit where you downloaded these fonts front such as dafont.com

    Domain Layouts: Your domain layouts are very unimpressive. To be entirely frank, you should delete that section until you improve.

    Domain Signs: Your domain signs are ok. Some are better than others, some are too bright, but overall they are decent enough.

    Premade Signs:Your premade signs are not as good as your domain signs and look like your just splashed brushes across un edited photos.

    Sun Vectors: Your sun vectors are ok. They don't blow me away but they're not bad either.

    Website Templates: Unimpressive.

    PSDs: The photos themselves are ok, but somewhat cheap looking. I'd recommend online databases of model photos so you can get a more professional look, or perhaps celebrity images?

    Credits: You've thoroughly credited everything and I'm glad to see that. I was worried before. (: You've evidently credited all the necessary sources.

    I like that you have a suggestions page. That's something I think any site should have - even ones that get 1000 hits a day - because every site always has room for improvement. (:

    Overall your site was ok, but often unimpressive, and I felt I'd been expecting more, however I believe you can improve once you allow practice, patience, etc.

    I definitely think that you can offer more with this layout. The mirroring image doesn't exactly catch my attention. And I'm not exactly liking that 'vintaged' look that seems to be going on there. But it seems like you put some effort into it, and I would continue onto your site.

    I'm just not crazy about them. I do like the one flower brush, though.

    Nothing wrong with your fonts. :) I will most likely come back and download a few myself.

    Your domain layout images don't impress me at all. The colors are REALLY bright, and they just don't fit my taste real well. Your domain signs are alright. Your regular signs don't impress me too much. I would like your sun vectors better if you would have them in black and white. Your website templates look very helpful, though, to those who need ideas for their website.

    I personally wouldn't use them. Why not put up some celebrities?

    Tutorials 20/20
    Your tutorials are kind of helpful. I would suggest some more photoshop tutorials.

    I would suggest subdomain hosting when you get an actual domain. :) (But who am I to say something like this?) That is completely your choice though. And on your plugboard part of the site, a pop-up came up on my computer when I clicked a site name, and my anti-virus software came up informing me about a threat being blocked. I think that plugboard code may be free just to send out some viruses onto others computers.

    It's very different. The header is a bit small and I see no pineapples lol. Your text is a bit too bunched together which is making it hard to read, and because it's white it's worse.     Your layout has 12 errors, and 24 warnings, dealing with html. You might want to look at your coding and try to fix that. Now with css you have no errors so good job.

    You should add something to your footer. There's no padding at all so any text is gonna bump right against the bottom of the screen. I would suggest adding at least 10px of space there, or maybe add neat little footer image. Even if it's a disclaimer to go down there. Just something so your text doesn't bump the bottom of the screen.

    I think if you're going to use three columns make them run the whole length of the page, and as I said before I'd flip flop your colors, make the boxes colored and the background black. I think your layout would stand out more. Right now there's just something off-putting about it to me.

    I think you should make your links stand out more, bold them and up the font size. I find in general the size of your font is a bit small.
    Your headers should stand out more as well against the rest of your text. I will say that at least you have a rather original layout image. Kudos to you for that.

    Moving on to your content now. So far nothing that has me saying wow or that I would want to come back for. I see no page about yourself, no page about the site. Arg one link goes directly to myspace, if you are going to have an offsite link it's best it not go in your main navigation unless it's say to a forum or something you own.

    A lot of your forms I see no samples of your work or very limited samples. Some of your images are coming up as broken as well. I would suggest making a page called gallery where you can link most all your work, make one form and have a drop down to specify what the person is after. This will clean up a lot of unnecessary pages. Your psds have white spots all over them, doesn't look really attractive.

    I think you should make an about page, put stuff about yourself, the site and then combine the contact and fanlistings and awards onto that page or make small subpages for them. They are not really important enough to put in a main navigation as most people don't really care about seeing these things.

    Overall your site's not bad but I didn't find anything on it that would merit a second visit. Your content is typical, tutorials are common and I've seen them all over the place. I would suggest finding a niche for yourself. Rather than having a little bit of a lot of different topics, focus on one or two. If you make layouts for myspace stick to that and maybe add a secondary. Like if you write or for blends or whatever, have two major sections to focus on and build. It's easier to keep your content unique and having people come back for more.

    Was lost in your site. :( Let's talk about your left sidebar. The first was "content", but all I see was Awards won, or contact me, etc.. That is not content. You should rename it ..

    I just figured out your layout. You need better navigation sidebar.
    Resource-wise, for the brush pack. Don't display it black and white. Add some color to the sample. It just makes the whole brush pack duller and boring.
    The rest, your small fonts just make the whole resource unprofessional and bad.

    1. that is not me. thats a sitemodel i use on my myspace site.

    2. i just put content as the title because thats the content on my site. all the pages is content whether its visitor stuff or not.

    3. umm, everyone that comes to my site seems to love it so i am not going to change it. I just changed it to that to begin with. all of the layouts i had before were colorful and i wanted something different and darker.

    Your site works perfectly fine for me in Internet Explorer, Mozila Firefox and Safari, great!
    'myspace' should be MySpace. Do I really need to add your MySpace? What happens if I don't have one, am I going to die or something?
    What does 'Jock' mean? Try using a more common word, such as steal.
    3 & 4 go pretty much without saying.

    Content - I think all of these pages could be put onto a single 'site' page, it'll make your site more organised.

    The forms - I think you should put the 'sign request' and the 'domain layout request' into your content section, 'subdomain hosting' into a site page. 'Subdomain' should be sub-domain.

    Resources - I don't think the 'updated' image is clear. Maybe replace that with some text or change the font.

    Stats - Nobody cares about unique hits really. They're also on your Extreme Tracker.

    Blog - 'when i had the 5 showing' should be When I had the 5 showing.
    'I dont think I have dont' should be I don't think I have done.
    'While your their' should be While you are there.
    'Its temporary' should be It's temporary.

    You shouldn't be using CuteNews as it is unsafe, I suggest using Fan Update instead. It is much safer and there are lots of tutorials out there to help you.

    The links right at the bottom for your FTP and CuteNews, you can just bookmark these links instead of displaying them on your site.

    Advertise - When I click the 'Want to be here?' button, the page isn't found.

    Affiliates - Nobody really needs to know they're in alphabetical order.

    Coding and Validation:

    Your HTML is not valid, you have 9 errors and 14 warnings. You have no doctype. You should insert this into the top of your header: . I'm not that good at coding so I won't be able to help with the rest, sorry. This tutorial should be able to help you.

    In your CSS, you have no errors but 10 warnings. They are mainly caused because of parts of your CSS being the same colour.

    The text on your site is too crowded, you need to add line height to make it easier to read. This and This links should be able to help you. Depending on your font size, if you just add line-height : 20px; it should be okay.

    Content:

    Brush Packs - To be honest, you shouldn't really re-distribute brushes on your site you haven't made.. but then all preppy sites do that. *disappointed*

    Fonts - Only the A - F page has fonts. The rest don't have any, and the last page doesn't work.

    Myspace Stuff

    Site Reviews - When viewing these, I see you don't have any of your layout or CSS. Add this to the page or link back to the original review page.

    Tips -

    Use proper punctuation and grammar and spelling. Instead of linking all your pages on the sidebar, just have 5 main pages and link everything on there. Explain what certain things are as people won't understand.

    You have lots of potential, you just need to be slightly guided.

    Lol, I think it would be best if you remove the pages without the any fonts as it makes your site look unprofessional and not finished.

    Ooh okay, I never knew that. It still looks nice.

    No, the layout is too big for my screen resolution. But it works fine in the browsers, the size will vary on your screen resolution.

    I guess you think that because you're a preppy site, while I don't. I've realised that. It looks unprofessional and too crowded, also taking up space on the sidebar. But then, you're a preppy site so those sites will do that.

    Lol, the resolution thing isn't that much of a problem as only a bit of the sidebar can be seen, but it might be a slightly bigger problem if you have a resolution of 800 x 600.

    Thanks for the review, it was perfectly fine aha. Great suggestions you gave as well so I'll be working on them pretty soon when I get exams out the way which I'm going to fail at.

    Lol yeah, I made an account so I could practice reviewing and get suggestions to improve my site as well.

    I actually thought my resolution at first was 1280 x 1024, but it's 1024 x 768. I don't know how to do it really, so I just printscreen my desktop and then paste it as a new image in your image editing program, then just check the image size. If you tell me what program you use (I have Macromedia Fireworks, Photoshop and Paint Shop pro) I can be more specific if you wish.

    Lol. So if you were using Photoshop CS3..

    Printscreen your desktop using the Print Screen button on your keyboard. Should be on the top right around that area?

    Open Photoshop. create a new document. Make sure the preset drop down is clipboard. Press ok. Then just go Image > Image Size.

    I hope you get that because I really do make things sound complicated and suck at explaining, lol.

    Don't judge my grammer in this part. I am tired and dont feel like fixing it right now haha. i will go through and fix ll of those grammar errors on my site though.

    the reason i didn't add css to my reviews page is because it didnt look good when I did it. i am working on it though.

    my fonts page: i am working on the banners for them. i have a lot so its taking longer than expected. and i typed the wrong name for the last page hence the reason it is broken haha.

    i always have bright colors on my layouts and I wanted something different so I used "duller" colors this time. a lot of people are saying that they like it. So I'm going to keep that.

    The update pixel, i forgot to change the color on it when i changed layouts. so, I will fix that.

    You kind of confused me at the top. You said my layout is too big in your screen resolution in firefox but then you said it worked perfectly in all browsers. So I dont know what you meant lol.

    I know there are a bunch of popular sites that have all of their content on their sidebars, so why is it bad for me?
