Wannabe geek, procrastination extraordinaire, and typical teenage drama queen - this is a BTS take into the life of April :)

    My first impression -- Very Colourful. Very personal. Very pretty. Very original. I really like the feel of it. I like the font of the header, to me, it shows that it is YOUR blog, with the handwriting style.

    - Layout -
    I like the simplicity of the blog. Some sites that I've been to have an awkward navigation, and hidden search bars, but luckily, yours doesn't! :)

    - Blog -
    Your blog entries are interesting. You actually make it interesting, and you don't just drone about your day as many, many bloggers tend to do.

    Overall, a nice blog.

    As I said before I love it! It is simple, easy to navigate, not hard on the eyes. Everything that screams perfect. XD

    Validations:
    HTML5: 5 errors which can easily be fixed. No big deal.

    CSS level 2.1: 10 errors. Again no big deal, I have seen worse.

    Originality:
    It is a personal blog, so they are always origiinal. I was reading some of your blog and I lvoe your opinions. :D

    Well it is a blog, so I can't say too much on this. But as far as your blogs go, you blog often which is a great thing.

    First impressions: Your layout is tidy, easy to read, easy on the eyes and I love the color combination! A great mix of clean and adorable. It seems to fit you perfectly, because after doing just a little bit of reading, you seem to have a very bubbly, quirky personality. Having a clear picture of yourself, front and center, is a big plus because it makes your readers feel more connected to you, instead of just your content. I think that if you are going to make a blog about you and your life, then you should actually put yourself out there and be honest (within reason of course) and that's what you are doing! Mentioning that you work at a library and want to be a columnist also won you 100 awesome points from me. Sorry you can't cash those in anywhere.

    Cross browser compatibility: Looks good across the board.

    I'd say, if you want to kick it up a notch, take some pictures to go along with your blog posts. I see you have a video on one of them, those are cool too. These things just help break up a lot of text and express even more of what you are saying. I'm not saying you need to get obsessive about a video or a photo on every post, maybe just on the longer ones or the ones where you went on an adventure of some kind.

    4 stars for your lovely layout and your writing style.

    I love it. (: I personally find it very pleasing, soothing and appealing to the ear. While it is a bit of a long name, I love it because it's easy to remember and quick to the point. I think your visitor's won't have a difficult time revisiting your site and it is most definitely a unique site name!

    My first impression of your website was definitely a positive one! I like your use of colors, and how mainly simplicity dominates your site. I was pleased that I didn't find any flashy or crowded header. Your overall coding is nice and simple, and seems to fit nicely on most, if not all, browsers.

I feel like I'm already getting to know you!

    April, great job with your website! Your visitors will adore your site and honesty. To me, it looks like you blog very often, all with very interesting topics and opinions. There are only two things I would suggest:
    As I scroll down your page, everything gets more and more plain because the header is slowly disappearing out of view. When I reach to the bottom of a page, there is almost nothing. Perhaps add a little footer like the little striped header. Also, perhaps you should add another little page, perhaps a contact form in case your visitors would like to contact you about something. Anyways, you are off to a great start and I hope that your website continues to grow as you continue to blog!
