The website itself is nice and simply and it's easy to use. Very good.
The content, however, I'm not sure about. You appear to be charging for your designs, but judging by the examples you've got on the site, the effects you do are things that most people can do themselves, so I'm not sure I see much point in offering these services.

First Impressions
Your site has overall given me a good impression. My impressions of it started low with the splash page and ended much better when I was browsing through it. Personally, I am not a fan of splash pages - they require an extra click. They are good if you have multiple sites on the domain, but not good if you only have one.
Layout
It's actually pretty good! Your coding looks valid and consistent and I can find anything I want to find very very easily. But as always, I've got a few criticisms:
1) I have trouble seeing the links in your content area. They should be slightly darker if possible.
2) Could you make the line height of a paragraph in your content the same as the sidebar? It'll make your text a lot easier to read.
3) Don't have content in popup windows if possible. Make a new page.Content
So... I like what I see, but I'm not sure that I'm seeing everything that I want to see. On your freebies page, the only thing that I can see are the WordPress themes. I'm pretty sure that it's not your javascript failing and that your pages aren't there because when I try to go the pages manually, I can't.
On the other hand, your WordPress themes are great! I can read everything well and it looks like all of the standard things (categories, tags, archives) are there. Even someone really picky like me would consider using them, and that's actually really saying something.
I also like the stuff on your designs page. Everything is clear and I know what you can do. However, I'd advise you not to put your phone number on the Internet, lest you start getting text message spam and creepers of some sort. Stick to an email address instead.
Your writing overall, is clear and casual, as a blog should be. However, I'll make the same criticism that Cordy made and say that the opening paragraph of your "About" page has too many sentences that begin with "I". It doesn't read very smoothly.
Overall, I shall be visiting your site again! Good job!

The first thing I noticed about your site (as most people would notice about ANY site) is the layout. I love the color blue and I love Christmas/winter themes so I definitely like your layout. It's pretty simple, but it still works :)
As far as content goes, you don't have a whole lot. Also, the name of your site is DESIGNS by Emilee... it would be nice to see maybe a portfolio of your best works and some type of request system if you're planning on offering people to order custom designs from you!
The only other big thing that I noticed was in your "about" section, almost ALL of your sentences are "I" sentences. They all start with "I" and therefore it kind of gets boring to read.
I definitely think you have talent with designing a site, and I saw in the sidebar that you are reworking the site. I hope that my suggestions will help make your site even better than it already is =) Good luck!
